As a counter balance to the anger management one, of course.

I've had a lovely day with a visit from my best mate who brought me a signed Jasmine Becket-Griffith book. She also brought the sprog an autograph from Neil Buchanan that stunned her into silence when she got home from school. A quiet sprog is a rare and strange thing.

Also, I finally got a photo of Boris drinking from his water dish. :D

If ever you need a smile, I find these two sites infinitely helpful

I can't believe no one's posted in here for so long

Happiness is...well lots of little things, too numerous to mention ....like checking to see if BRAIDS is touring, and finding out that they're playing support to a band I've already got tickets to :) and no wasps in wasp season at home.....and loving the look of my garden after killing myself to get it looking neat....and definitely it being the month when you get your payrise backdated

I agree, Miss Sleep! Shame the Anger Management thread is so much more well used!

I'll try to get the Happy ball rolling... I started a new job today, which I'm very excited about, and last night I booked tickets up to Edinburgh in November to see the boyfriend (and to coincide with a certain November tour, ahem).

Also, not necessarily a happiness thing, but if this doesn't make you go 'Awww' then there's something wrong with you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L64c5vT3NBw&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Happiness is..having a tiny spending spree in Accessorize :). Then finding Feist tickets waiting on my doormat when I get home. And not feeling tired because my meds are the correct level is wonderful. And being able to sit through an hour+ rant on the phone from my ex without getting wound up.....that's a great feeling too.

Tiny things make for happiness :D

Aww, widdle kitties :D (even if I'm totally a dog person). How many did she have? I'm sure they are adorable, though the photo seems to suggest that they are just many fluffy brown balls

Ha, spoken like a true dog person!

It's quite hard to take a good photo, because she chose to give birth in the darkest, bleakest corner of a wardrobe(in fact she walked past a kittening box that I'd prepared for her to get to that spot) and however we try to photo them they come out as blurry bundles of fur. But there are four of them - two are black...the other two are clearly going to be a mix of colours, but it's hard to tell what. One will either be a brown mackerel tabby or a brown tortoiseshell and the other will might be a blue tortoriseshell or blue tabby. I've always wanted a grey cat, so I'm starting to get very attached to the last one.

Oh and in suitably rock and roll style, she chose to give birth on a Foxy Shazam t-shirt. ;)

Hahaha, yes, very much a dog person

Ah, I suppose it's instinct that would drive her into a dark corner- must feel safer for the birthing mother and her litter. I do like grey cats though! You can get piccies of them once they're old enough to venture out a bit and start exploring :D

And plus, baby animals of any kind are ALWAYS adorable *smoosh*

Yes, baby animals are very cute :) these ones are coming on beautifully. I'll see if I can get some pictures that aren't fuzzy brown balls tomorrow.

I do also like dogs, btw....it's just that I find the thought of training a puppy rather daunting. Maybe I'll get a dog when my kids go to Uni in a few years time, so I won't be lonely.

Being poor, sweltering in the hot weather and being motivated is doing wonders for my weight. Losing half a stone in three weeks makes me very happy, and the thought of being back to my ideal weight by the end of the summer makes me happier still :D

Well done, beautysleep! I need to get myself a bit more motivated too...I'm aiming to get back down to my ideal weight too, by the end of the summer.

As this is the Happiness Management Thread, here's a photo of my 'baby', Pippa. She makes me very happy- way too affectionate and fluffy.
